This article describes the RPA Active Directory functionality to unlock a user account.

Description
The ACTIVE DIRECTORY Unlock a user account function unlocks a locked user account in Active Directory, allowing the user to log in again.
Setting it up
To use the ACTIVE DIRECTORY Unlock a user account function, follow these instructions:

Once on a process map:
- Navigate to the process where you would like to add the ACTIVE DIRECTORY Unlock a user account function
- Click on the green button's drop-down (right side of the green button labelled "Process")
- On the menu that appears, click on the "+ Activity" item
- From here you can select the ACTIVE DIRECTORY Unlock a user account option
- Click "Add" once you are done
Input parameters

Output variables
This action does not produce output variables.
Errors
| Error | Description |
|---|---|
| Connection not found | No connection exists with the specified name |
| User not found | No user was found with the specified DN |
Tips
- This clears the account lockout; it does not reset the user's password
