Log into the application - the desktop counterpart of browser login.
Add it to a process
In the process designer, open the Add step tab. Find Log into app under Desktop App, or type its name in the search box, and drag it onto the canvas.
Fields
| Field | Required | What it does |

| Username field | No | UI Automation selector for the username field. |
| Password field | No | UI Automation selector for the password field. |
| Login button | Yes | UI Automation selector for the login button. |
| Where is the password stored? | No | Credential source (vault if credentialID set, else keychain). Choices: Bot local keychain, Vault credential. |
| Credential | No | UUID of the vault credential. Required when credentialMode is vault. |
| Username | Yes | Username to type. Keychain uses it as-is; vault prefers the server username, else this. |
| Application | No | Keychain scope for keychain mode. Required in keychain mode. |
| Fall back to keyboard input | No | If true, fall back to keyboard simulation when a control-based write/click fails. |
