Press a keyboard key one or more times.
Add it to a process
In the process designer, open the Add step tab. Find Press key in app under Desktop App, or type its name in the search box, and drag it onto the canvas.
Fields
| Field | Required | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Key | No | The key to press. |
| Control | No | The UI control to target - resolved by its learned name (App Model, self-healing) or its recorded selector. Shows the ranked selector candidates and the model name/screen. |
| Iterations | No | Number of times to press the key. Default: 1. |
| Interval | No | Delay between presses in seconds. Default: 0. |
| Fall back to keyboard | No | When the control can't be found, press the key on the focused field. |
