Decrypt a PGP file, for example a statement from the bank.
Add it to a process
In the process designer, open the Add step tab. Find PGP: decrypt file under Security, or type its name in the search box, and drag it onto the canvas.
Fields
| Field | Required | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| File path | Yes | Encrypted file (.pgp, .gpg or .asc) |
| Private key | Yes | Your private key: a key file path on this machine, or a vault variable |
| Passphrase | No | Passphrase of your private key. Keep it in the vault and read it into a variable. |
| Verify key | No | Sender's public key, to check their signature |
| Output path | No | Output path (defaults to file_path without .pgp/.gpg/.asc) |
| Variable | No | Variable to store output path Default: decrypted_file. |
What it gives back
{decrypted_file}– Path to decrypted file
