Description
The EXCEL Set a cell’s validation function allows you to set a cell’s validation.
Setting it up
To use the EXCEL Set a cell’s validation function, follow these instructions:

Once on a process map:
- Navigate to the process where you would like to add the EXCEL Set a cell’s validation function
- Click on the green button’s drop-down (right side of the green button labelled “Process”)
- On the menu that appears, click on the “+ Activity” item
- From here you can select the EXCEL Set a cell’s validation option
- Click "Add" once you are done

Output variables
This action does not produce output variables.
Errors
| Error | Description |

| File not open | The Excel file must be open |
| Invalid cell | The cell reference is not valid |
Tips
- Creates a dropdown list validation on the specified cells
- Each line becomes an option in the dropdown
