Read a whole text file into a variable.
Add it to a process
In the process designer, open the Add step tab. Find Read text file under File & Folder › Read & Write, or type its name in the search box, and drag it onto the canvas.
Fields
| Field | Required | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Path | Yes | File path of the text file to read |
| Save the text in | No | Name of the variable to store the file's text in (default 'text') |
| Encoding | No | Leave empty for UTF-8. Older Windows files are often cp1252. |
