Write state data to a JSON file.
Add it to a process
In the process designer, open the Add step tab. Find Write data to JSON file under File & Folder › Read & Write, or type its name in the search box, and drag it onto the canvas.
Fields
| Field | Required | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| File path | Yes | Enter the file path, or use a variable such as {folder::desktop::path}\file.txt. |
| Variable | Yes | Name of the variable where the result will be stored |
| Overwrite existing file | No | If a file with the same name already exists, overwrite it |
