Protect a range from editing.
Add it to a process
In the process designer, open the Add step tab. Find Protect a range from editing under Google Workspace › Sheets, or type its name in the search box, and drag it onto the canvas.
Fields
| Field | Required | What it does |

| Range | Yes | Cell range to protect in A1 notation |
| Sheet id | Yes | Numeric ID of the sheet tab |
| Description | No | Description explaining why this range is protected |
| Variable | No | Name of the variable where the result will be stored |
| Warning only | No | If true, shows a warning instead of blocking edits Default: off. |
