This article describes the RPA Google Workspace connector function to open an existing Google Slides presentation.

Description
The Open presentation function opens a connection to an existing Google Slides presentation by its ID or URL. This establishes a session for subsequent read and write operations.
Input parameters

Errors
- Presentation not found – the presentation ID is invalid or you lack access
- Insufficient permissions – the app lacks presentations scope
Tips
- The presentation ID is the long string in the URL between /d/ and /edit
- You can also paste the full Google Slides URL and the ID will be extracted automatically
- Use the Close function when finished to release the connection
