Overview
iCloud Mail via IMAP/SMTP. Apple does not accept your normal Apple Account password here – the connection needs an app-specific password.
Setting up the connection
Auth type: HTTP Basic.
- Turn on two-factor authentication for the Apple Account. Apple only issues app-specific passwords to accounts that have it.
- Sign in at account.apple.com and open Sign-In and Security → App-Specific Passwords. Create one for Automize.
- In Automize, open Settings → Connectors → iCloud Mail → Add connection.
- Enter the iCloud address the bot signs in as (for example name@icloud.com) in Email address and the app-specific password in App-specific password.

Data model
Standard mail: folders hold messages, and each message is addressed by its UID within a folder.

- Sends through smtp.mail.me.com on port 587 with STARTTLS.

- Why is my Apple Account password rejected?
- iCloud Mail only accepts an app-specific password over IMAP and SMTP. Create one at account.apple.com and use that.
