Publish a message to a topic or exchange.
Add it to a process
In the process designer, open the Add step tab. Find Publish message under Messaging › RabbitMQ, or type its name in the search box, and drag it onto the canvas.
Fields
| Field | Required | What it does |

| Message | Yes | The text to send, e.g. {"invoice": "{invoice[number]}"}. It is sent as written. |
| Message headers (JSON) | No | Extra RabbitMQ message headers as a JSON object. For example {"source": "automize"}. Not used for Redis. |
| Connection name | Yes | Connection name |
| Exchange / Channel | Yes | Where to send the message. Redis: the channel name. RabbitMQ: exchange/routing key, e.g. orders/new, or just a queue name to send straight to that queue. |
