Subscribe to a topic and collect messages in a variable.
Add it to a process
In the process designer, open the Add step tab. Find Subscribe to channel under Messaging › Redis, or type its name in the search box, and drag it onto the canvas.
Fields
| Field | Required | What it does |

| Connection name | Yes | Connection name |
| Channel | Yes | What to listen to. Redis: the channel name. RabbitMQ: exchange/routing key, e.g. orders/new, or a queue name. |
| Variable | No | Name of the variable that collects messages, without braces, e.g. messages. Messages are added in the background as they arrive, each with a topic and a message. Default: messages. |
