Automize tells you when something needs your attention: a bot goes offline, a run fails, a task is waiting, a credential is about to expire. You choose which alerts you get and where they go. Everything is under Settings › Notifications, in three parts: Channels, Connected channels and Email digest.
Each person sets their own notifications. What one person picks does not change anyone else's.
1. Choose what you get, and where
Open Settings › Notifications › Channels. Each kind of alert has its own row:
| Row | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Bot alerts | Bot online, offline, failed, resource warnings |
| Process events | Published, deleted, validation failures |
| Schedule events | Missed schedules, completed runs |
| Credentials | Expiring and expired credentials |
| My Tasks | Task assigned, overdue, expired, completed |
| Queue alerts | SLA breaches, threshold warnings |
| Pool alerts | Backlog above threshold, no machine able to take work |
| Team changes | Members joined, removed, role changed |
| System | Maintenance, license warnings |
| Supplier ledger | Changed bank accounts, duplicate invoices, changed identifiers |
A row only shows when your workspace uses that feature. For each row:
- Switch each channel on or off: In-App, Email, Telegram and WhatsApp. Telegram and WhatsApp stay off until you connect them (see the next section).
- Min. Severity: All, Warning+ or Critical only.
- Grouping: Bundle (group repeats) collects repeats of the same alert into one, Individual (one row each) shows every one.
2. Connect Telegram or WhatsApp
Open Settings › Notifications › Connected channels. Each app shows Not connected or Connected with the last four digits of where alerts go.
Telegram
- Click Connect next to Telegram. Telegram opens.
- Press Start. The page shows Telegram as connected once the bot hears from you.
- The page shows a code and a WhatsApp number.
- From the phone you want alerts on, send that code on WhatsApp to that number.
WhatsApp alerts need a WhatsApp number set up for your workspace. If the page says "This workspace has no WhatsApp number configured yet.", ask a company admin; they set it up under Settings › Connectors › WhatsApp.
Once connected, click Send test to check it works. Click Disconnect to stop alerts going there.
3. Microsoft Teams (company admins)
Teams alerts go to a channel the whole team reads, so each alert is sent once rather than once per person. A company admin sets this up:
- Add a Microsoft Teams connection under Settings › Connectors with the channel's Incoming webhook URL.
- In Settings › Notifications › Connected channels, under Microsoft Teams, turn on Send notifications here and pick a Min. Severity.
- Click Save, then Send test.
4. Email digest
Open Settings › Notifications › Email digest and choose a Digest frequency:
- Immediate (send each email as it happens)
- Hourly digest
- Daily digest, sent at the Daily digest time you pick
- Off (no email notifications)
5. Send alerts to another system
A company admin can send the same events to another system under Settings › Outbound webhooks. Each webhook is an address that receives an HTTP POST, signed so the other system can check it came from Automize. Pick All events or only the ones you need, and use Test to try it.
6. Not getting alerts?
- Check the channel is switched on for that row, and that Min. Severity is not set higher than the alert.
- For Telegram or WhatsApp, check the app shows Connected, then use Send test. If delivery failed, the reason shows under the channel.
- For email, check the digest is not set to Off.
