Read a field's value, found by its name on the screen or by its number.
Add it to a process
In the process designer, open the Add step tab. Find Read field under Terminal › Read & Find, or type its name in the search box, and drag it onto the canvas.
Fields
| Field | Required | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Field name | No | The field's label on the screen, e.g. Your user name. Leave empty to use the field index; when you use a name, leave the index empty. |
| Field index | No | Field index on the screen (0-based, default 0) |
| Variable | No | Variable name to store the field value (default 'field_value') Default: field_value. |
