Working with the dashboard

Build a dashboard from widgets – add, arrange and configure cards that show your automation's health, runs, queues and more, and switch the time window.

Help CentreReports & Dashboards

The dashboard is your at-a-glance view of how your automations are doing. It is made up of widgets – individual cards that each show one thing, such as a success rate, a list of failing processes, or your own recent runs. You choose which widgets appear and how they're arranged.

1. Add and arrange widgets

  1. Open the dashboard.
  2. Open the widget catalogue and pick a widget to add it to your layout. For the full list of what's available, see Dashboard widget catalogue.
  3. Drag widgets to reorder them and resize them to build a layout that suits you.
  4. Remove a widget you don't need from its menu.

Your layout is saved to your account, so it's there next time you sign in.

2. Configure a widget

Some widgets are configurable – they let you choose exactly what they track. For example:

  • A Single KPI widget lets you pick which metric it displays.
  • Watchlist widgets let you choose specific bots or processes to keep an eye on.
  • Several chart widgets let you switch the chart type (for example bar, line or doughnut).

Configurable widgets can be added more than once with different settings – so you can have, say, two Single KPI cards showing different numbers.

3. Change the time window

Most widgets respect a shared time window – typically the last 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or 90 days. Switch it to see your figures and trends over a different period.

4. Process and Forms dashboards

There are separate dashboards for process automation and for forms, each with its own catalogue of relevant widgets – process health, runs, queues and bots on one; submissions, top forms and question analytics on the other.

5. Who can see what

A few widgets are restricted. Workforce analytics (such as contributor activity) are available to administrators, and some operational widgets are limited to superusers. You'll only see the widgets your role allows in the catalogue.
